Architectural Project: North Kelsey Moor

Origin beat off the competition of Lincoln architects to work on the redevelopment of a 1960′s bunglaow in near in Lincolnshire. The existing property is certainly in need of a major overhaul and the new owners are certainly planning to do this. The proposal is to create a home which resembles a barn conversion using timber framed windows, brick skirting and a cream render to the existing walls.

The existing building is to be extended to form a much longer shape allowing space for the addition of a double garage and garden room. The shallow pitch of the roof is slightly uncharacteristic of a brick barn and the internal spacial arrangement has been carefully thought out to ensure rooms and storage give adequate space. The initial 3d images have now been prepared and waiting to be reviewed before the scheme is developed further.
