Origin was appointed by Mitie to gain planning permission for the proposed works at UK5, St Pancras in London. The proposal was for a new plant deck to be added to the roof of the building.

The local planning authority had concerns about the proposed chillers and plant deck to be constructed on the roof and the potential adverse effect of the view while walking along the Grand Union Canal. Our architectural design service provided a model of the local area with an animation showing the view along the pathway of the canal. This animation proved that the plant deck remained concealed for the majority of the walk which alievated the concerns of the planning authority.
